A Home in Her is a 108-page graphic novel created by Sarah Winifred Searle, published by Gestalt Comics, and supported by funding from the DLGSC.

Aoi recently returned from uni in London to regional Western Australia to sort out his parents’ estate. He’s struggling with grief and isolation when meeting Eerie changes everything.
Through strange gifts, surreal shadows, and unsettling late-night conversations, he finds himself feeling at home with an unusual person in an unexpected place.

What type of pairing does this comic have, if any? Is it a trans guy and a gal, a trans gal and a guy, etc etc? I'm asking so I can add it to either or collection I keep and curate here on Itchio.

Thanks for your interest! It's about a trans man and a genderqueer "woman" : )

Great! Is the genderqueer character generally femme, by chance? Or do they not like that as a label? Cuz I've got multiple collections! Let me know which collection you think fits your story better, or if both would work! I share these lists around various places in hopes more eyes get on trans stories~

I think this story would make sense for both collections, thank you : )

Then I'll add it! Thank you!

I had a lovely time reading this.  It reminded me of the vibes from some of my favourite slow-burn, character focused manga, with your own creative touch added to it.  I was wondering if the use of blue and green was connected to the Japanese word “aoi” (青) being used for both colours, so seeing that confirmed in the bonus material was delightful.  I truly enjoyed the brief glimpse you gave us into Aoi and Eerie’s lives together, this is a graphic novel that I’ll never forget.
